The George Little Press, Inc., was founded October 1, 1950, by George E. Little, Jr. (1921- ) and his father, George E. Little, Sr. The company purchased the lithography division of Champlain Printers (formerly the Free Press Printing Co.). In early 1951 Joseph E. Corbett became a full time partner with the younger Little. This partnership continued until they retired and sold the company to William Goodson of Stowe, Vermont, and his partners in August 1983.
